Canoe Park is located in Eagle Mountain directly on the river front and surrounded by private residences. Picnic tables and a beautiful view of the river accompany this quiet place perfect for reading a book, writing a poem, or just looking around and feeling the beauty of the surroundings.

 

It can be accessed off of Jersey Fleur at the Fife Bridge or off of Lily Lane (Turn off of Lemmon Lane in Beaver Forest, just before you get to Eagle Mountain).

 

There are no camping sites here, but Canoe Park is a very shady and cool place to rest or have a picnic. It is also a great fishing spot (since it's the Coosawattee River, licenses are required) and it is the take out point for the Coosawattee River Tubing Company, but is also the preferred take out from 'on their own' tubers.

Directions: from the Main Gate entrance off Hwy 382 follow Beaver Lake Dr to Villa Dr to right on Indigo Dr, Indigo Dr becomes Lemmon Ln, turn right on Jersey Fleur veer right onto Newport.  Canoe Park is on the right just before the bridge.
